The Dart is the classic paper airplane — narrow nose, tight wings, and a confident straight-line glide. Perfect for your first fold and still great when you want to win a hallway contest.
How to fold it
Use a US Letter or A4 sheet. Take your time on the first crease — every other fold depends on it.

Fold the paper in half the long way, then unfold so you have a center crease.

Fold the top two corners in to meet the center crease.
- 3
Fold the new slanted edges into the center crease again (this makes the pointy nose).

Fold the plane in half along the original crease, away from you.
- 5
Fold each wing down so the top edge meets the bottom edge.
- 6
Lift the wings up until they are flat and shaped like a T.
